Lau Botanicals give a small percentage of each product back to The Waipā Foundation. Your generous contribution supports The Waipā Foundation in stewarding the 1,600 acre ahupua`a of Waipā, located on Kaua`iʻs beautiful north shore.  The foundationʻs mission is to restore the valleyʻs vibrant natural systems and resources, inspire healthy thriving communities connected to their resources, and lead by example.  Gifts like yours help us to mālama the land and resources at Waipā, provide our communities with healthy food, and continue to connect people with the natural environment and our culture, sharing and teaching values that are Hawaiian, and at the same time universal. One of these core values are aloha `āina (love of the land and resources).   Every year, the foundation welcomes thousands of lifelong learners on field trips and group visits from schools and organizations throughout Hawaiʻi and beyond. In addition, as a food justice project, Waipā produced more than 36,000 pounds of poi last year, distributing our valuable staple food  to over 7,000 families at cost.
